About Us

Sister’s Suitcase began a few months  ago after I  lost my daughter, Carisa Loraine Herald, in a tragic car accident. Carisa’s sister and I spent countless hours replaying Carisa’s life and thinking about how to honor her. We started Sister’s Suitcase, a “Bling Bling”  jewelry line dedicated to Carisa. Each piece of jewelry is named after Carisa and her zest for life. Carisa touched and blessed many people in her 20 years of life. Carisa was a Criminal Justice Major at Florida Gulf Coast University and expected to graduate in 2012.  She was known for her unforgettable laugh, her dancing, how she loved pink, her ability to make everyone smile, and her sweet and genuine personality.  Sister’s Suitcase contributes to the Carisa Herald Scholarship Fund at Florida Gulf Coast University.  Also, we are continuing Carisa’s legacy by donating to many charities, some of which include; Breast Cancer Awareness, Relay For Life, and many High School Sporting Programs, etc.  We will continue to give back in Carisa’s name.  Carisa, you are an inspiration!
